Ecstatic Dance

These events are inclusive safe spaces for all people, all ages to come together to explore their own unique movement, to find their own groove, to drop everything and dance like nobody's watching.

Ecstatic Dance often is a space of great catharsis and release, a space of non-judgment where you are free to dance, move, groove and explore your body and find your own playful dancing spirit.

Where dance becomes a meditation of movement, a space to release emotional, mental and physical tension, to let it all out on the dance floor.

Join Imogen Prado for these introductory and FREE sessions to explore this activity and sign up for next terms 10 week program.

We will begin with an opening circle to introduce everyone into a guided small meditation to ground and connect the participants to the space to allow everyone to let go of their busy day and fully be present in the space.

Imogen will guide and DJ the sonic journey, the music is a diverse mix of world music, different tempos, from meditative to high energy music.

Bring a bottle of water and wear comfortable clothes to dance in and if you wish to stretch before or after dancing you can bring a yoga mat.

Come along to one or both classes and get your groove on!

Join us afterwards at Wardell CORE for a cup of tea and a chance to chat.

JOIN QUEST FOR LIFE AND LEARN PRACTICAL SKILLS AND TOOLS FOR BUILDING RESILIENCE AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Understand the impact of stress and trauma on our mind and body and explore the pathways to post-traumatic growth. The workshop is practical and you’ll leave with tools and strategies that will immediately make a difference.

Post-traumatic growth becomes possible when people manage their brain more effectively by   implementing evidence-based skills and strategies for healing.  Quest for Life helps participants learn how to manage symptoms as well as learning about how trauma impacts the brain, and how healing is made possible.

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR THIS FREE WORKSHOP

We are once again offering an incredible opportunity to experience this unique and powerful program. We are truly fortunate to bring Breath : Cold Exposure Therapy with Benny back to Wardell.

Benny is a certified Wim Hof Method Instructor and Oxygen Advantage Advanced Instructor and will be delivering a workshop based on these methods and other practices he has utilised in his career in facing emergency situations. The workshop will predominantly be a breathwork session and an ice bath session.

You will learn to utilise oxygen and cold exposure to optimise your body & mind, and the underlying physiological changes that occur during both practices. You will gain a deep understanding of stress and fear, and you will move through both of these states throughout the workshop.
